Guest rreisner@mcwane.com Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 We have dozens of H & W 5500s to complete for 2006 with these questions... 1) If you have a Fully Insured Dental Plan, is it by it's nature a non-experience rated contract? Basically, How do you know when to complete experience rated or the non-experience rated sections? 2) We have assumed that you do NOT complete a Schedule A any longer for Self Insured Plans, is that accurate? Thank you
Guest Dell Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 1) The insurance company should be giving you all of the info to complete the Sch A. Contact them and request the 5500 Sch A information. You really need the insurance company to provide the information, usually their reports reference the Sch A line numbers. 2) If you self-insure a benefit there is no Sch A. Actually, I don't believe there ever was.
