Guest JJWADE Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Form 5500-SF instructions, for a one-participant plan, indicate that the only Part III items that need to be completed are Lines 7a-c and 8a. The sofware that I am using automatically populates Lines 8c (total income), 8h (total expensee), and 8i (net income). Since the amounts automatically populated by the software do not represent the actual totals, should I blank them out?
Rai401k Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 we are having the same problem....we use relius gov't forms. We want to file a 5500 SF instead of an EZ so our client can file electronically but gov't forms is forcing us to fill out the 'other income' section even though the instructions say not to? We haven't received a call back from Relius since they are so backed up!! Has anyone figured out how to submit these filings even though they have errors according to gov't forms?

Tom Poje Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Interesting, never even dawned on me someone would want to do this (much less that only certain items are to be filled in) Tried it on FT William, and if one-participant plan is checked the only items you are allowed to fill in are the required items. learn something new every day.
