We finally submitted our first Form 5500 filing with Relius Web client. It came back with a "submission failed". Under status history it showed the following:

"The list of errors/warnings below were accepted at time of signing:

No validations were reported."

I have an incident with Relius but it takes a while to get a response on the incidents due to the amount of calls they are getting. It said I need to contact technical support when I researched that particular issue.

Any ideas??

What service pack are you up to??? I was getting the same error until we loaded service pack 3 and now it seems to be working. (We have since loaded SP 4). It has been a nightmare, but I am getting closer to it being only chaotic.

Had you already "published" the 5500 under a previous service pack??? We had done this and then had to retrieve it and republish it under SP 3.

If you published it in SP3 or SP4 and are getting that error, then I am afraid you have an issue that I have not encountered and I have encountered more than I ever wanted to deal with in this idiotic process.

You might try the retrieve and republish just for grins to see if it works.

Retrieving and republishing clears the signatures and the validation error. Client has to "re-sign".

Correct, but that is easy. I have had clients get that done in 2 minutes or less because they don't have to go through the registration process again. Just log in, select planbooks and efile it.

Note ----- I wouldn't want to be a Relius Gov't Forms rep at the next public forum!!!!!!

are your clients getting the following message when they first log in to and clieck on the "Efile" link?

"Please return to the plan list and choose the E-FIle link again." relpic.bmp

If so retrieving and republishing clears it. No resolution from RELIUS as to why this is happening.

btw,

there is a SP4 Hot Fix available for downloading. I am waiting for the SP4 Xtreme oneFixall version. :=)
