Visually you can barely tell, but if I hold up the pdf I printed from the IRS web-site, I find that they are slightly out of line. Austin Powers, CPA, QPA, ERPA
Kevin C Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 The 5558 printed by the software we use doesn't exactly match the printed .pdf from the IRS website either. I don't think you will have any issues.
mwyatt Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 Shouldn't have any issues at all as it doesn't appear that the IRS has been properly logging in 5558 filings anyway (given the number of bogus issues arising last year, including but not limited to second plan listed on a 5558 not being logged, whole stacks of 5558s not being recorded, etc.).
