Jim Norman Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 If the 12-c is a cult calculator I guess I'm a member of a cult, I've got 3 of them: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142405...0326458056.html I'm addicted to placebos. I could quit, but it wouldn't matter.

david rigby Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 RPN forever! I was told once that the 12C has at least one limitation that is not in the HP-17BII: the former cannot solve for non-integral "n", but the latter does just fine. Sorry, I've never confirmed whether it's true, but I think the 17BII is superior. I'm a retirement actuary. Nothing about my comments is intended or should be construed as investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Occasionally, but not all the time, it might be reasonable to interpret my comments as actuarial or consulting advice.
