jmartin Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 I know that SEP IRA's do not have to file 5500. Is there a cutoff regarding assets? If the the SEP has over $250,000 in assets would we then have to file a 5500 (similar to a dc plan with form EZ)?
ETA Consulting LLC Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 No. There is no 5500 reporting for SEPs. Good Luck! CPC, QPA, QKA, TGPC, ERPA
austin3515 Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 The key is a plan funded exclusively by IRA's (so same goes for SIMPLE IRA's) Austin Powers, CPA, QPA, ERPA
