The employee would take unpaid leave for giving birth to a child. What are the potential liabilities for the employer?

The legal advice you get on these Message Boards is worth exactly what you pay for it. I'm a retirement actuary. Nothing about my comments is intended or should be construed as investment, tax, legal or accounting advice.
