daynamcfly Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I was employed with TWA from 1977 -2003. My pension from 1977-1999, which was the date American Airlines aquired TWA, is held by the PBGC. They claim to not have any record of me in their data base. They requested TAX returns from 1999 and before. I have been on the IRS website and they only go back to 2005. How do I prove employment? I provided letters of my 10 and 20 year employment but they want IRS proof.
Bill Ecklund Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Contact social security. They have your employment records way back to when you started working. Lou S. 1
Kevin C Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I can't remember if the last SS statement I received listed the employers for the earnings history. They offer an on-line statement. If it doesn't list employers, according to this, for a charge, they offer an itemized statement that includes the names and address of employers. http://www.socialsecurity.gov/forms/ssa-7050.pdf
ESOP Guy Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 You mean you don't have your tax returns from 1999 and before? (fyi laughing with you not at you)
