Guest Linda P Posted November 7, 1998 Posted November 7, 1998 Usually, amounts withheld for the FSA are pro-rated over the regular number of employee paychecks. What about if nothing is withheld from the first check of the year? Can the total amount for the year be spread out over the remaining 25 checks (assuming pay checks every 2 weeks)? Or should the payroll deduction for the FSA be doubled up on for the second check in January? Thanks.
Lisa Hand Posted November 9, 1998 Posted November 9, 1998 Why was no deduction taken from the first check? Not eligible? Administrative error?
Guest PTD Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Yes, the total amount for the year be spread out over the remaining 25 pays.
oriecat Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Why are you resurrecting an 8 year old thread??
Guest Heather Sachs Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 You can split it up over the remaining payrolls.
WDIK Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Why are you resurrecting an 8 year old thread?? This shatters the previous record. ...but then again, What Do I Know?
oriecat Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Doubled it... now someone needs to find a 16 year old thread
