Guest Tim Brown Posted September 13, 2000 Posted September 13, 2000 I am new to Cafeteria Plans but have been administering Qualified Retirement Plans for years. I am going to be taking over the administration of our clients Cafeteria Plans and wanted to see what thoughts existing administrators have on software options. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Guest Dick Boever Posted September 19, 2000 Posted September 19, 2000 Perfect timing, I am in the process of helping someone review flex plan administration software. If the ultimate goal was to have 20,000 to 50,000 participants under administration what product can serve that large a number. Most of the systems seem to be designed for someone handling a few thousand participants tops. This company would like to be state of the art and have the ability to automate the process as much as possible. Including internet enrollment and claims filing. Is anyone using one of the packaged systems for this many people? I appreciate any input.
Guest Lee Ann Jenkins Posted September 19, 2000 Posted September 19, 2000 I've also been doing some research on software. Take a look at P&W Software. They're well on their way to completing their Windows version.
Lisa Hand Posted September 24, 2000 Posted September 24, 2000 Kirk: Sorry for the delay in response, I have been out of town. My answer to your question would be yes. Data Path already has a windows version and you purchase the level of support you need. So if it is just your company, you purchase the lower end capasity and if you have 20,000 or more you purchase that level of capasity. Dick, you might want to call them and ask for references of clients the size you are working with.
Guest Kimberly Crowder Posted October 2, 2000 Posted October 2, 2000 Travis Software has a windows version available phone#281-496-3737 datapath has the most comprehensive and the most user friendly that i have seen but their licensing fees are outrageous if you are wanting to administer multiple clients..they will send you a free sample cd-rom if you call 1-800-633-3841
