John Smith
I passed my QKA exam last year and am now interested in taking the QPA exam. Could you please clarify if it’s possible to take the QPA exam without first completing the QKC exam, or if the QKC is a prerequisite? I appreciate your guidance. John Smith
Thank you very much for your response. It seems I need to complete the QKC first. Best regards, John Bill Presson and Gina Alsdorf

Best regards, John I agree with @Bill Presson as far as credential is concerned, but I am not aware of a requirement to have the prior credential to take the exam. In other words, you can take the exam before you have the QKC designation, but you can't apply for QPA without having met QPC. I took the exams out of order before there was a QKC designation, but this was back in the hunter-gatherer days... Bri
Does anyone ever back-fill their designations when ASPPA issues new kinds that are lower-ranking than what one's already attained? Bill Presson

Nah, I don't see the point to be honest. Belgarath, Bill Presson, John Smith and 1 other

I got my QPA way back in 1991. I did go back and get my QKA (I think there was an extra exam needed for it at the time). John Smith 1 William C.
