Where can I find a complete list of all the changes in family status for Cafeteria plans? I need to have documentation that would show that a husband changing jobs IS an eligble change in family status to change a health care spending account election.

For a valid mid-year change in the Health Care spending accounts, would a Voluntary Request for reduction in hours (a request by the employee to cut back his hours) be considered a legal status change?

Employee states that his hours were cut and he wants to reduce the dollars currently being withheld from his paycheck. I requested a change from his director and it states that it was requested by the employee to cut his hours. Thank in advance for your response. Yvette
