Guest CGBS Posted December 7, 2000 Posted December 7, 2000 If a participant requests a copy of the full annual report - should we just provide the form and ALL the attached schedules? Thank you for any help.
Kristina Posted December 7, 2000 Posted December 7, 2000 I assume you mean the 5500 form and all attached schedules. Yes, this is the information which he is entitled to obtain. A participant is not entitled to obtain information which would divulge directly another participant's interest or balance in the plan. Kristina
david rigby Posted December 7, 2000 Posted December 7, 2000 Caution. Certain attached schedules are not open to public inspection: SSA, E, and F. I'm a retirement actuary. Nothing about my comments is intended or should be construed as investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Occasionally, but not all the time, it might be reasonable to interpret my comments as actuarial or consulting advice.
Guest RJF Posted December 8, 2000 Posted December 8, 2000 Has the SAR requirement changed with the new format of the 5500 forms? Or is it still the same format and deadline as before?
Kristina Posted December 8, 2000 Posted December 8, 2000 The SAR content changed to reflect the small plan/large plan filing. See Fed Reg 4/19/2000 and 6/5/2000. Date requirements are the same. Kristina
