k man Posted January 5, 2001 Posted January 5, 2001 Are there any rules that preclude a husband and wife from participating in their own flex spending (cafateria plan) at their respective places of employment? If not, how does the 5,000 limit in the regs apply to a situation where the husband and wife each have their own plans?
Lisa Hand Posted January 14, 2001 Posted January 14, 2001 The $5,000 annual max on Dependent Care Assitance is per family, not individual. So both could participate but can not exceed $5,000 in total.
