Guest Peter Riggins Posted February 15, 2001 Posted February 15, 2001 In a cafeteria plan where the employer pays the full cost of the short and long-term disability benefits for employees, is there any way for the employees who become disabled to receive non-taxable benefits?
SLuskin Posted February 23, 2001 Posted February 23, 2001 No, if the premium is paid by the employer, any disability benefit is taxable to the employee.
Guest Mwbdbs Posted March 7, 2001 Posted March 7, 2001 Have plan set up as voluntary with 100% participation and employer refunds cost to employees.
