Guest ndgal Posted March 22, 2001 Posted March 22, 2001 I am looking for some basic and intermediate training on nonqualifed deferred compensation plans. Open to self-study, seminars, videos, etc. Any suggestions?
Guest GKelley Posted March 23, 2001 Posted March 23, 2001 BNA Tax Management Portfolio 385 is a great resource and covers the subject pretty well. "Comprehensive Deferred Compensation" by Lou Richey and Larry Brody is also good. It is available from National Underwriters. The Panel Publishers "Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Answer Book" is also a good learning resource.
Guest wmacdonald Posted March 24, 2001 Posted March 24, 2001 The books mentioned are all excellent. I would also pick up "Tax Facts", published by the National Underwriter. Also to put a little plug in for my book published by CCH. "Retain Key Executives: Enhance Your Nonqualified Benefit Plans" (www.cch.com). Also, you can learn alot from study our survey, see http://www.crgworld.com under "publications".
Guest JCB Posted April 11, 2001 Posted April 11, 2001 The AICPA (American Institute of CPAs) has an Executive Compnesation COnference that includes basic, intermediate and advanced levels. June in San Diego. see http://www.aicpa.org
Guest wmacdonald Posted April 12, 2001 Posted April 12, 2001 [Thanks for the information on the AICPA Conference, it looks interesting.
card Posted April 25, 2001 Posted April 25, 2001 I would also highly recommend Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Plans by Bruce McNeil, Published by West. card
