Guest TRIADtrisha Posted March 22, 2001 Posted March 22, 2001 Does anyone know if the cost of an emergency cellular phone would be eligible for someone with diabetes under the FSA plan? Thank you!!
KIP KRAUS Posted March 22, 2001 Posted March 22, 2001 I don't know for sure , but my opinion is that because it is not used to treat or prevent an illness I wouldn't allow it in any FSA plan I administered.
Guest Kathy Gray Posted March 23, 2001 Posted March 23, 2001 Any cell phone can always be used to dial 911. You don't have to have a service contract, just the phone and a charged battery. There are agencies that will provide the phones to people in need.
