Problem Running Quantech 6.0 Custom Reports

I installed Quantech 6.0 on a "clean" machine (i.e., uninstalled Quantech 5.0 and Crystal 6.0). I then saved our custom reports in Crystal 7.0 format. When I attempted to run any custom report, Quantech would "hang" on the "Reportwriter is preparing report" statement. This happened on every report. I tried moving the reports to a single folder, etc., etc.. I just can't get this to work. I can run the report through Crystal without a problem.

Any ideas?

Jim,

It could be that Seagate is not logged into the database.

Try going to Reporting- Seagate Crystal Report designer.

Then under the Database menu item you have the option to Log onto Server. Try that and then go back and try your reports. If this is/was the problem you will not have to repeat the procedure. You will automatically be logged on in the future.

Thanks for your help. It seems, however, that there were two additional service packs I was not aware of. I'm in the processing of installing sp4. Having problems...
