The new retirement plan legislation known as “SECURE 2.0” is a significant improvement to the retirement savings programs currently available to millions of American workers.  

The enactment of this significant piece of legislation is exciting, but the change is sure to generate a lot of questions!   

Many of the provisions that impact your 401(k) plan (or 403(b) plan) are mandatory, but there are some optional provisions that will become available over the next few years that you may want to add as an enhancement to your retirement plan program.
