As a small business owner sponsoring a retirement plan, a new rule from the Department of Labor will help you in selecting and monitoring your planís service providers. Under this rule, service providers must disclose information on the administrative and investment costs associated with their services to your plan. This information will help you to make informed decisions in considering whether the arrangement and amount paid for the services are reasonable.

The U.S. Department of Laborís Employee Benefits Security Administration is sponsoring a webcast to help you understand this new rule, including the type of information you can expect and how to use this new information in carrying out your responsibilities. The webcast also will cover what to do to protect yourself if you do not receive the information.
