If you are an employer who is trying to comply with the Affordable Care Act, or if you are a third party administrator or insurer with questions about the law and guidance, this is your chance to hear from the experts and to ask questions. In this two-part webcast, the Department of Labor will provide practical information and helpful tips on the Affordable Care Act.  The Affordable Care Act provides for a number of changes for group health plans, including new notice requirements, market reforms, and new wellness program rules.

Representatives from the Department of the Treasury and the Department of Health and Human Services will participate to discuss key tax provisions and coverage options under the Affordable Care Act.

The webcast will address the following topics:
September 17, 2014 Speakers from the U.S. Department of Labor will provide information on the final wellness program rules.  The Department of the Treasury will discuss the employer shared responsibility provisions. Click here to register for Day 1.

September 18, 2014 Speakers from the U.S. Department of Labor will provide information on the Notice to Employees of Coverage Options under FLSA 18B and the full implementation of key market reforms (including the extension of dependent coverage to age 26, lifetime and annual limits, and prohibitions on preexisting conditions).  The Department of Health and Human Services will discuss the new Health Insurance Marketplace and Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP).  Click here to register for Day 2.
