To paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of the Affordable Care Act’s death have been greatly exaggerated.
Although a modified version of the American Health Care Act (AHCA) squeaked through the House in May, the Senate may make major changes to it, or even ignore it entirely and create its own brand new healthcare reform bill. And there is no firm timeline for this process.
For the time being, the ACA remains the law of the land and that includes the onerous employer reporting requirements: the 1094-C, the 1095-C, and so forth.
