How Millennials are Transforming Employee Benefits

Apr. 26, 2017
Recorded Online

Millennials are the biggest age grouping in American history; at 80 million strong society is and will continue to change to accommodate this important demographic. This generation was raised by the "Me" generation (baby boomers) and is sometimes called entitled, lazy, shallow, and selfish. Conversely, they are well-rounded, enjoy work-family balance and are extremely tech savvy. What does all of this mean for employers? This presentation will help you understand this age group and shape your benefits plan to address the needs and wants of your modern work force.

The webinar is presented by Ann Stawicki, Senior Consultant at Burnham Benefits and Katy Triefenbach, Co-Founder and CEO of Stage 1 Financial. Ann holds a Master’s in Public Health and spent 15 years in healthcare administration before going into employee benefits, which she has been doing for more than ten years. She works with C-suite executives to develop long-term, high-return benefit plans that achieve corporate goals by lowering costs and maximizing results. Katy has spent more than 20 years in a variety of roles in and outside of the United States. Katy began her career as a nurse in Intensive Care Units. Nursing allowed Katy to transition into a new career in Medical Sales and Marketing for companies such as GE Healthcare and CareFusion, in which she continued to work for over 10 years before transitioning into Stage 1 Financial. Katy partnered with her husband Jeremy to develop and brand a new way of meeting the unique needs of fast growth brands.
