Small business owners without a retirement savings plan may wonder if they are at a point where they can and should start a plan. As part of National Small Business Week, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration in coordination with the Small Business Administration will hold a free webcast for small businesses and their service providers on retirement savings plan options.

The Internal Revenue Service also will participate in the webcast.

SCORE, a resource partner of the Small Business Administration, will discuss how many small businesses grow to the point where they can consider retirement savings plans and how SCORE can help.

The U.S. Department of Labor will be joined by the Internal Revenue Service to discuss retirement savings options available for small businesses. The webcast will provide practical information and helpful tips to understand and compare the options and to start and operate a retirement savings plan. An employer based plan can provide an effective way to save with tax advantages for the employer and employees.

Join us for this webcast - starting a retirement savings plan can be easier than you think!
