Best Practices for an Effective Retirement Plan Committee

University Conference Services

June 22, 2017
Recorded Online

Forming a retirement plan committee is the easy part. Running an effective retirement plan committee meeting on an ongoing basis, however, can be a challenge.

In this session, attendees experience a mock retirement plan investment committee meeting complete with an agenda that includes a variety of topics of critical importance to plan sponsors. Building a core fund menu, replacing active investment options, crafting meeting minutes, annual due diligence procedures, and other best practices will all be covered in detail. Plan sponsors will walk away with a firm grasp of how to take immediate action to strengthen the processes and procedures used when structuring their retirement plan committee meetings.

Presenter: Sara R. Matlock, Senior Investment Advisor, SWBC Retirement Plan Services
