Integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into investment decisions is increasingly an interest of the investment management community. Those who are fiduciaries working with retirement plans must understand the impact on their decisions and actions of the provisions of both the Uniform Prudent Investor Act and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974.
This session will provide retirement professionals with a prudent road map which addresses this emerging topic. Additionally, our speaker will give attendees an update on what is going on in Washington, D.C.
- Understand the two extreme positions regarding the law and economics in compliance with fiduciary responsibilities when considering an ESG investment program
- Walk through a framework which documents the evaluation of the legal and risk-return factors that must be considered in their ESG investment decisions
- Stay up-to-date with current events from our nation’s capital and how it impacts the retirement plan community.
Session registration fee includes lunch at Davio’s.
