The Fiduciary Rule, Again?

ASPPA [American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries]

Jan. 22, 2020
Recorded Online

In 2010, 2015, 2016, and now 2019 the Department of Labor has proposed or amended its rules governing “investment advice”.

This webinar will focus on the Department of Labor’s current proposal and compare it to the Department of Labor’s traditional “five-part test” for fiduciary status and the SEC’s similar rules governing investment advisers.  Once again, the retirement world is facing new rules and it is important to understand how they will impact everything from participant education, to financial wellness, to rollovers.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discuss possible path forward for fiduciary rule and what this means.

Speaker: Kevin Walsh, Principal, Groom Law Group, Chartered
