Employee Assistance Programs

Lorman Education Services

Feb. 19, 2020
Recorded Online
Webinar

Taking care of the total well-being of employees is important in today’s marketplace.

Employers with a strong EAP (Employee Assistance Program) have services that are designed to help employees address issues that arise in everyday life, both at work and at home. An EAP provides resources to employees and their family members, in the form of counseling and additional resources. As well, EAPs provide services to managers and employers, in the form of organizational development and trainings.

Learning Objectives:

  • You will be able to define the business value of offering an EAP.
  • You will be able to describe what typical services are included.
  • You will be able to identify a communication strategy for a successful deployment.
  • You will be able to recognize when to suggest the EAP to an employee.
