Financing Retiree Healthcare Post COVID

As retirement nears, individuals will have several big decisions to make, including when to stop working, when to claim Social Security and how to generate cash flow from their retirement assets. Perhaps the biggest expense to consider in retirement is paying for healthcare and potential long term care costs. These decisions are interconnected and could influence your overall living costs and lifestyle choices,  as well as when you plan to retire.

Earlier in May, Mary Beth Franklin explored the potential re-thinking of Social Security decisions in light of the coronavirus pandemic. In this bootcamp, we will explore how financial advisers can help clients plan for their healthcare costs in retirement and why now is probably one on the best times to start those conversations while healthcare is in the national spotlight.
