Timely Review of ACA Reporting Requirements

Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC

Mar. 29, 2022
Recorded Online
Webinar

Bond Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation attorney John C. Godsoe provided some helpful reminders about forms that must be filed with the Internal Revenue Service to comply with the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

For several years, the IRS showed leniency to large employers (50 or more employees) who failed to file Forms 1095-C and 1094-C accurately or by the annual deadline. The IRS has signaled these forms will be reviewed with greater scrutiny in 2022, and the penalties for noncompliance can be steep (as much as $560 per employee). Any employer who is uncertain if they meet the large employer threshold – or is unsure about how to complete the forms – should reach out to Bond attorney for assistance.

The full webinar covered the following topics:

  • COVID Update
  • OFCCP Federal Contractor Requirements
  • EEOC Guidance on Caregiver Discrimination
  • Affordable Care Act Reporting Requirements
  • NYC Pay Transparency Law Update
