When the Plan Sponsor makes the decision to terminate a plan, quite a few wheels start moving to facilitate the process. One thing you can be sure of, is the need to be able to pivot as things change. These could be changes on the Plan Sponsor’s end or dealing with market fluctuations. Setting expectations up front helps with navigating through the termination process from start to finish.
