Press release:

New Partner Named At Mazursky Constantine LLC

Issued by: Mazursky Constantine LLC

Date: June 1, 2012

(Atlanta)  -  Mazursky Constantine LLC, a leading law firm in the areas of Employee Benefits, Executive Compensation and Employment Law, announced today that Douglas M. Towns has joined the firm as a partner.  Previously, Towns practiced Employment Law as a partner in the Atlanta office of Jones Day.

For the last 20 years, Towns has provided Employment Litigation and Employment Counseling services to employers.  He regularly counsels clients on a myriad of employment matters and  represents them in complex labor and employment litigation, including class action and multi-plaintiff employment discrimination lawsuits, wage-hour collective actions, and state law tort and contract claims.  He also advises and counsels employers on a broad array of day-to-day and long-term employment law matters.

Towns has appeared as an employment law commentator on CNN Headline news; presented over 180 seminars on employment law and labor law topics; and authored over 40 articles on litigation, internal investigations and risk management.  He is involved in the local community, serving as counsel for two nonprofits and sitting on several boards.  He is a graduate of Emory University, and received his law degree from University of Virginia.

“Doug is a talented lawyer and a great fit for our firm,” said Don Mazursky, a Managing Partner of Mazursky Constantine.  “We have looked long and hard to find just the right partner to help grow our Employment Law practice.  Doug has all of the skills and attributes we require of a partner, including superior knowledge and experience, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a collaborative work ethic, all of which will allow him to enhance our firm and the businesses of our clients.”

“I am excited to join the Mazursky Constantine team,” said Towns.  “In this environment, I will have the opportunity to continue to practice employment law at the highest level for some of the most significant employers in the US.  With the practice of the entire firm concentrated in Employee Benefits, Executive Compensation and Employment Law, I look forward to working closely with other members of the team in helping our clients find practical solutions to all of their Human Resources needs.  I will also be able to continue providing our clients with value, through more reasonable hourly rates and a collaborative work environment.”

With clients throughout the US, Mazursky Constantine is the largest, most prominent law firm in the Southeast that focuses its entire practice on Human Resources, with a concentration on Employee Benefits, Executive Compensation and ERISA litigation and with an expertise in Employment Counseling and Employment Litigation.
