Press release:

Time Inc. Selects Towers Watson's OneExchange to Deliver Health and Wellness Benefits to Employees in 2015

Issued by: Towers Watson

Date: Feb. 3, 2015

ARLINGTON, VA, February 3, 2015 — Global professional services company Towers Watson (NYSE, NASDAQ: TW) (NYSE, NASDAQ: TW) announced today that Time Inc. (NYSE:TIME) has chosen Towers Watson’s OneExchange to deliver medical, prescription drug, dental and vision benefits to its full-time active employees and their dependents for the 2015 plan year.

“Nothing is more important and more private than health and the personal decisions we make about our health care,” said Greg Giangrande, Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Time Inc. “With OneExchange we are able to offer our workforce more choice, better value and increased flexibility in plan designs. This new direction demonstrates our commitment to providing quality, competitive and affordable health and wellness plans to meet the varying needs of employees at different stages of life.”

The new health and wellness program features choice in medical plans and in medical, dental and vision insurers. Time Inc. has also introduced a new voluntary wellness program that gives employees and dependents who actively participate the chance to earn wellbeing dollars. The company is adding benefits such as legal services and identity theft protection to its existing voluntary benefits, as well as continuing to offer life insurance, flexible spending and commuter benefits.

“We are a newly independent company with a diverse talent base and we are committed to taking an innovative approach to managing health and wellness,” said Giangrande.  “That includes providing access to OneExchange’s online resource center and highly trained customer service staff.”

“Time Inc. is at the vanguard of a movement among the country’s leading employers to give their employees more choice and control over their health and wellness benefits,” said Jim Foreman, managing director, Exchange Solutions, Towers Watson. “By using a private exchange to administer and deliver these benefits, Time Inc. is bringing the same spirit of innovation it demonstrates in its media business to helping its employees become better and more responsible consumers of health care.”

With more than nine years of operating experience, Towers Watson’s OneExchange is a private health insurance exchange that supports all workforce populations, including full- and part-time active employees and early and Medicare-eligible retirees.
