Press release:

TRA Regional Sales Consultant Tricia Morandini Named Volunteer of the Year at Matrix Human Services Awards Ceremony in Detroit, MI

Issued by: The Retirement Advantage [TRA]

Date: May 4, 2015

APPLETON, WIS. (May 4, 2015) – Long time Matrix Human Services volunteer Tricia Morandini, has been honored as Volunteer of the Year by Dr. Marcella Wilson, President and CEO of Matrix Human Services, at its annual Matrix Volunteer Annual Meeting in Detroit, MI on April 24. Morandini has been volunteering with Matrix for more than five years and has inspired others through their vision and leadership, exceptional achievements, and participation in community service.

Due to her contributions to the region, to the community, and to the business world, Morandini was chosen from hundreds of volunteers and is joining a group comprised of our area’s most influential people. “Tricia is incredibly generous with her time and talents and we’re truly lucky that she has chosen to volunteer with our organization,” said Matrix Human Services LaTrice Jordan, VP of Marketing and Development.  “The entire staff and Matrix Human Services family is proud of her contribution to enriching the lives of the Matrix Human Services participants she works with.”

“I was thrilled just to be nominated as there were many other nominees at the luncheon representing thousands of hours of dedicated community service across the program,” Morandini stated following the ceremony. “There were many kind words shared for all of us and the emcee said he had been to the Matrix Human Services website and was amazed and moved by what he saw. Of course, I am amazed and enthused by Matrix Human Services myself, and am very proud that my work with my fellow volunteers and student participants has been recognized this way. The transition to success model offers a hand up and not a hand out, and treats poverty as a condition that requires treatment and not a character flaw.”

“At Matrix we are honored to welcome hundreds of volunteers yearly. While all are amazing, there's always one who goes above exceeding even our expectations. Tricia spent more than 100 hours in two years supporting various programs. Dedicating herself to the cause, being dependable and enthusiastic in her approach to any event.  She serves as a remarkable role model, including her 13 year old son in her volunteer experience instilling in him the value of giving back. Tricia Morandini you set the bar high this year. Congrats....so well deserved!” asserted Jordan.

Beyond her volunteering efforts Morandini has a notable career in the retirement plan industry. Morandini currently is responsible for sales and marketing distributed through financial advisors and product wholesalers in all of Lower Michigan for The Retirement Advantage (TRA).Tricia excels at customizing retirement plan solutions to meet the specific needs of every client. She listens to their objectives and uniquely tailors successful solutions to allow them to reach their retirement goals. “Tricia truly flourishes at anything she sets her sights on, and we are elated for her to be a part of our team.” affirms Matt Schoneman, TRA President.
