East Granby, CT, September 15, 2016 – Today, the Retirement Advisor Council offered a case study illustrating the value comprehensive financial wellness program can bring to an employer-sponsored retirement plan.

Today, the Retirement Advisor Council offered a case studydemonstrating the value that a comprehensive financial wellness program can bring to an employer-sponsored retirement plan. Plan Sponsor Consultants headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia partnered with a local IT firm to improveoverall plan performance, including raising employee contributions and shining a spotlight on retirement readiness through education and outreach efforts.

The Information Technology firm, which is a thriving business with 11 regional offices, selected Mike Kane and his team at Plan Sponsor Consultants to examine their retirement plan and make suggestions for improvement. The solution provided services under the umbrella of “financial wellness” that the client and previous advisors hadn’t considered.

By establishing a complete financial wellness program—that goes beyond saving for retirement—we can help employees reduce financial stress and at the same time improve productivity for employers.
