Willis Towers Watson Names New Executive Compensation Practice Leader for North America

January 19, 2017 -- Willis Towers Watson has announced that Richard (“RJ”) Bannister has been named leader of the executive compensation practice in North America.

A director in Willis Towers Watson’s New York office, Bannister has almost 30 years of experience consulting to boards, compensation committees and senior management of leading companies in industries ranging from media and entertainment to financial services to pharma, among others. His specialties include designing innovative incentive plans, managing sophisticated quantitative analyses and helping clients implement value-based management.

A candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst program, he received his M.Sc. in Economics at the London School of Economics and a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Bannister succeeds Andrew Goldstein, who was named leader of Willis Towers Watson’s Rewards business in North America as part of the recent realignment of the Talent & Rewards segment globally. Named regional leaders of the Rewards business in North America were:

  • Brian Blackwood, U.S. Midwest region
  • John Hammond, Canada
  • Robert Mustich, U.S. Eastern region
  • Joshua Strok, U.S. Western region.
