Hartford, CT - Dec. 13, 2018 - The Connecticut operation of OneDigital Health and Benefits, the nation's largest company focused exclusively on employee benefits and HR, is pleased to welcome Katelyn LaVoie as a principal and senior benefits consultant. Kate brings over ten years of industry experience and will strengthen the team's ability to provide quality client service and deliver benefits and human resources innovation.

Kate will work with clients and prospects to establish benefits programs that meet the client's goals and financial objectives. In her role as principal and senior benefits consultant, she will focus on strategic initiatives catered to the public sector while considering clients' philosophy, desired objectives, and financial stability. Her primary responsibilities include managing the overall client relationship, the collective bargaining process, public sector's unique budgeting needs, renewal process and offering strategic guidance while managing ongoing and new initiatives and special projects. Kate began her career in the industry over ten years ago; most recently leading a large municipal block of health & welfare clients and specializes in union negotiations, financial and contract analysis.

The Hartford office, led by Managing Principal Emily Bailey was recognized as a "Best Place to Work" by the Hartford Business Journal and Best Companies Group earlier this year. Responding to the convergence of broker consolidation, digitalization and an increase of millennials in the workplace, the 18-year-old company is staking a claim as "the new generation in health and benefits."
