Won Andersen and Dard Hunter to Lead Employee Benefits Operations for Lockton Pacific Series

With changes in workforce and shifts in talent, plan sponsors must think differently.

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 5, 2019, -- Employers face major demographic changes in today's workforce, disruptive technology in healthcare delivery, and a growing skills and talent gap. Won Andersen and Dard Hunter, who recently joined Lockton to lead and expand its Pacific Series employee benefits operations, will be a tremendous asset to companies who look beyond traditional benefits strategies and delivery platforms to gain an edge when competing for talent.

"Leveraging Lockton's advisory role with clients helps employers to think more broadly about their human capital with an expanded view of total rewards and set meaningful strategies in place to strengthen their workforce productivity and engagement."

Hunter, who joined Lockton as Pacific Series benefits growth leader, agrees.

"Lockton's team of employee benefits experts and in-house resources enables employers to make data driven decisions and achieve higher efficiencies, better outcomes and a unique employee experience," adds Hunter, a veteran of more than 30 years who has spent most of his career at Mercer, most recently serving as senior partner, West Market Health & Benefits Business Leader. "Particularly for Silicon Valley employers, that may mean offering a navigator or concierge service, virtual networks, plan design alternatives that address changing demographics in the workforce, and sifting through a myriad of new clinical and technology point solutions."
