Trucker Huss, APC is pleased to announce that Freeman L. Levinrad will serve as President of the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) San Francisco Chapter Board of Directors beginning July 1, 2019. Freeman has been an integral member of the Board for several years.

In a press release distributed by the NIPA San Francisco Chapter, current Board President Brian Gilmore said, "We are all excited for Freeman to drive our educational sessions that help industry professionals maintain and build upon their skills in the employee benefits sphere. Freeman's knowledge in the area of qualified plans and dedication to the Chapter will be valuable for all of our members."

Freeman focuses his practice on advising clients with respect to the design and operation of their profit sharing/401(k), cash balance and traditional defined benefit plans. He also regularly works with multiemployer plans and the plans of tax-exempt entities, including public schools and universities, for which he advises on their 403(b) and 457 plan programs. Finally, Freeman has extensive experience in representing plans and plan sponsors in IRS examinations and Department of Labor investigations, and resolving plan defects and fiduciary breaches under the formal remedial programs sponsored by each agency.
