Pentegra Names Bruce D. Harrington Vice President, Strategic Development

White Plains, NY, November 16, 2020 – Today Pentegra, a leading provider of retirement plan and fiduciary outsourcing solutions, announced that Bruce D. Harrington has joined the organization as Vice President, Strategic Development.  Harrington will head Pentegra’s strategic and business development efforts and will report directly to Matthew P. Mintzer, Executive Vice President.

In making the announcement, Mintzer said, “Bruce is an exceptional leader. His impressive skills and industry expertise are the perfect complement to Pentegra’s culture and leadership team as we continue to grow. With a proven track record of retirement industry expertise, Harrington has been responsible for nearly every facet of the retirement business, including strategic business development and execution, product development and marketing, sales and relationship management, client experience and change management.

Prior to joining the Pentegra team, Harrington worked as an industry consultant, where he led various distribution projects and business development initiatives in the financial services industry encompassing strategy, sales, marketing, business modeling and product development.

His previous senior leadership roles include: Vice President, Head of Sales and Business Development, John Hancock Financial Network; Senior Vice President, Retirement Solutions, LPL Financial; Managing Director, Cogent Research; Vice President, Product Development, MFS Investment Management; and Vice President, Senior Product Manager, Putnam Investments.

He received his B.A. from Boston College and M.B.A. from Suffolk University. He is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary “AIF”, a Certified Retirement Counselor “CRC” and currently holds a Massachusetts Life Insurance license and previously held FINRA Series 6, 51, 63, 65, & 26 licenses. Past honors include Winner, Boston Business Journal, “40 under 40” most influential business executives.
