The onset of the solution follows recent legislation changes to make retirement plans more accessible and affordable for small businesses, including provisions for pooled employer plans (PEP) and multiple employer plans (MEP). It also allows eligible business owners to claim tax credits to start a new retirement plan. The combination of these changes has made it easier and more cost-effective for businesses of all sizes to add a retirement plan to their benefits package.
