Divorced Spouse and Dual Benefits

Question 1010: Can an eligible divorced spouse collect both a Railroad Retirement Annuity and a Social Security benefit?
Answer: A divorced spouse may receive both benefits, but the Railroad Retirement Annuity will be reduced by the amount of the Social Security benefit.
If the Social Security benefit is higher, only that benefit will be paid.
