When Can a Divorced Spouse Receive Her Share of the Rail Worker's Tier 2 Granted by the Divorce Decree?

Question 1030: Can I received my spouse retirement if I am only 54? It is part of the divorce decree.

Answer: Your age is not a factor. Your share of your former husband's Tier 2 should begin as soon as your former husband is awarded his Railroad Retirement Annuity.
