Spouse With Disabled Child in Care

Question 1050: Is it possible for a spouse to receive an early annuity if there is an underage disabled child in the home?
Answer: A Spouse who is not old enough to be eligible for a Spouse Annuity based on age can receive an annuity if these conditions are met: (1) there is a minor or disabled child being cared for, (2) the rail worker at least retirement age, and (3) the rail worker is receiving an annuity .
