Question 1054: If I work for the railroad and then quit and go to work for the FRA, do I forfeit my accrued Tier 1 and Tier 2?
Answer: If you are vested for Railroad Retirement, you will receive Tier 1 and Tier 2 benefits when you reach the eligibility age. In fact, you will also keep your "Current Connection."
