Can I Collect a Union Pension as well as Railroad Retirement?
(Posted November 23, 2013)
Question 1074: If I have a pension with another union (vested 10 years), can I collect both that pension and Railroad Retirement?
Answer: The union pension will not affect the regular Railroad Retirement Annuity. But if that pension is paid by a rail union, it could affect a Supplemental Annuity.
