Question 1111: I am on occupational disability with 30 years and age 60. My wife is on total disability through Social Security. She will turn 60 in July. When can she apply for Railroad Retirement?
Answer: She will be eligible for a Spouse Annuity in July 2014. She can apply at the Railroad Retirement Board within 90 days of her 60th birthday.
