Question 432: REA had a supplemental pension plan for supervisory staff. Where are those funds now?
Answer: Unfortunately, the REA private supplemental pension plan became insolvent just before Congress enacted legislation that protects private pension plans under a federal insurance program.
The REA pension plan funds were lost along with the company's other assets.
