Question 609: My husband will be retiring in about four years at age 60 with almost 40 years of service. I am nine months younger than he is; we have been married for 36 years. Will I be eligible to draw spouse retirement benefits at age 60?
Answer: Spouses of 60/30 retirees are also eligible for full spouse benefits when they become 60.
