Information About Filing Medicare Part B Claims
(Posted July 2, 2008)
Question 670: What information can I supply my new doctor in order for him to use the correct forms and fill them out correctly to file a claim for service he provides me?
Answer: The single nationwide carrier for Railroad Medicare Part B is:
Railroad Medicare Part B
P.O. Box 10066
Augusta GA 30999
Toll-Free phone number: (800) 833-4455
Your doctor should send Medicare claims for you to that address. He should include your RRB Claim Number as the Medicare identification number. Your RRB Claim Number should have the prefix "A" followed by your "9" digit Social Security Number.
